The Problem:
Runners often struggle to find the right running shoes that suit their individual running style, leading to discomfort, potential injuries, and suboptimal performance. Existing methods of selecting shoes, such as relying solely on subjective assessments or generic advice, lack precision and personalised data.
The Solution:
A native application that allows users to connect to a wearable device and perform an assessment on their running style. The application provides visual feedback on running style metrics through easy-to-understand charts and graphs, helping users comprehend their running patterns. Machine learning algorithms then analyse the running data that is collected and suggest the most suitable running shoes from a vast database of products, considering factors such as cushioning, support, and shoe type. The application is connected to an e-commerce store where runners can then purchase items from the recommended range of shoes suitable for them.
